KnitGraffitti’s Fuzzy Feathery Shawl Combos

Knit Graffitti’s newest design is here! A fuzzy, textural asymmetrical triangle shawl resembling lightweight feathers, knit using the two-color brioche stitch.

We have combos here using 1 skein of  Emma’s Yarn Slubby Slub and 1 skein of Emma’s Yarn Marvelous Mohair in highly contrasting colors.

Lesley Anne Robinson (KnitGraffiti) used Slub yarn and lace weight mohair/ silk blend for her design and says it begins with just a few stitches, and then work shawl shaping increases at the right edge of your shawl. As it grows, so does that feathery brioche stitch pattern. 

Techniques used in the pattern are : Knit, Purl, Brioche knit (brk), Brioche purl (brp), Brioche increases and decreases, Twisted German Cast On, Elastic Bind Off, Asymmetrical triangle shawl shaping.
