Heart of the Matter Cowl & Headband

Getting to the Heart of the Matter often means getting to the “most important part” of something. For me, offering something fun, fast, and easy to grab and pop on gets to the heart of what knitting is all about: joy, creativity, and…well, there’s nothing like a hit of instant gratification to remind us just how much we love this stuff!

Rather than a completely “even” accumulating/decreasing of the amount of tiny hearts that accumulate in the heart of the cowl, Helaina wanted to throw a tiny curveball, because, as we all know, there is nothing linear, symmetrical, and often, logical about the way the heart works and why it wants what it wants! 

Heart of the Matter Cowl by Helaina Hovitz of Chic and Regal Knits uses 2 colors of Emma’s Yarn Bodacious Bulky – multi color is color A, solid is color B.
