What goes into a shawl knitting design? Do you wish you were more creative? Can something be both simple and fantastic? Are there tricks to make the garter tab easier? How can you modify existing patterns? Do you wish you were better at choosing colors? Wonder why your yarn is too tight when you carry it? How important are those stitch counts? Why is there a hump on top and can I fix it (yes!) What about that crazy variegated yarn I have? Should I knit a boomerang or crescent shawl? And how do I wear a shawl, anyway? Come to a 3-hour session with Casapinka. We will discuss these questions plus a lot more. You will laugh a lot, interact, knit some, and get hands on help choosing colors. The goal is for you to take home immediate tips for knitting your next shawl with a surge of creativity and confidence. We will spend time together choosing yarn for your next pattern.
