Mouse Ears Pattern

This shawl was written in honor of the Magical Fiber Fantasy Retreat at Walt Disney World in Florida. Three magical days of fiber fun!

The lace section resembles a certain cheerful mouse who’s ears can be found hidden around the “world”
We love a good oversized shawl and this one is perfect to wrap up in while watching the fireworks after a long magical day or while day dreaming about your next visit….
Available in two sizes, skinny and wide, both are generous.

Mouse Ears is easily adjustable for more than 3 colors. The only rule is that you have the correct number of stitches in order to do the lace in Section 3. Other than that you can change colors as often as you’d like or use all one color. Get creative and have fun!

1200 yards of fingering weight yarn, wide sample shown was knit in;

US size 6, 32 or 40 inch circular needle
Stitch Markers (optional)
Darning needle

Gauge
26 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches on a size 6 needle in stockinet stitch. Gauge is not terribly important but it will affect the amount of yarn used.
