In this 3-hour class, you become the designer. This class will be based on a DK weight shawl in two colors (but you can incorporate as many into it as you like). We will talk briefly about deciding about colors and then go on to discuss stitch selection and how to get something that you truly want to wear (or gift to someone special).

Materials: 2 skeins of DK weight yarn, with some contrast (at least 225 yards each) and a US 6 – 16” and 24” needle.

Emma’s Yarn Comfy Cotton DK would be very nice for more temperate climates and here Drapey DK has 30% silk if you are looking for a little drape and sheen. Otherwise Simply Spectacular DK will work just as beautifully as will any other DK yarn.
