This class will allow you to learn straight, basic 2-color brioche and how to cast on and off for 2-color brioche.  You will also learn increases and decreases which create the curvy designs so pretty with brioche knitting.  Two free cowl patterns and a free scarf pattern will be provided in class, or you may decide on a brioche pattern of your choice – I am happy to help with this.  Brioche in the round is easier than flat brioche due to having to knit only 2 of the 4 rows required in flat brioche.  However, we will be learning on a flat piece for class practice, so you may choose the free scarf pattern provided for practice.

Part One, 2 hours:  Brioche basics, casting on, basic brioche. 10:30am – 12:30pm

Part Two, 2 hours:  Increases, decreases, and binding off. 1pm-3pm

The practice piece we will be doing in class will be a small section of a scarf pattern including all techniques required in the provided patterns
