Casapinka’s Crunching Leaves Cowl Combo

This is a cowl that you can cozy down into, an extra layer of thick, soft merino that will keep you toasty as you go about your day. The inside is also attractive, shown at left, and the cowl can be worn folded over (and upside-down, apparently.) If you would like a wider cowl, increase the number of stitches by 2 and decrease the number of rounds that you do.

Using two different colors (including variegated yarns) or a single color, you can make a unique Crunching Leaves Cowl and whip one up in no time. Using one of Casapinka’s favorite stitches, the “Woven Stitch” it has the appearance of something woven on a loom but is simple enough for a beginner to complete.

Combos include 2 skeins of Emma’s Yarn Bodacious Bulky (100% Superwash Merino, 106 yards per 100g)
