Our kits feature three skeins of Emma’s Yarn Slubby Slub, a fingering weight yarn with subtle texture that adds beautiful depth and interest to every stitch. The slub texture makes the slip-stitch honeycomb sections especially striking while still allowing the brioche motifs to shine.
This shawl is knit from the bottom up, beginning at the point and growing into a wide wingspan. Throughout the project you will transition between textured slip-stitch honeycomb blocks, striped fade sections, and two-color brioche. The design gradually blends each color into the next, creating a soft fade from Color A to Color B to Color C before fading back again. The shawl finishes with the beautiful Brioche Fading Roses motif, where the brioche stitches create rose-like shapes within the fabric.
