Beginning Knitting Class

Have you ever wondered about the enchanting world of knitting and why it is a craft cherished by generations? Join our “Beginning Knitting” class! In this beginner knitting class, you will learn the fundamental techniques of knitting: the cast-on, the bind-off, the knit stitch, and the purl stitch. You’ll learn knitting terms, tools, the anatomy of the basic stitches, as well as how to master the four techniques that are the foundation for all knitting projects. Come find a new way to unwind, and connect with a vibrant fiber community right here in Winter Haven.

This class is intended for adults only.

Materials not included.

Cost: $30 for two sessions lasting 1 1/2 hours each. 

Dates: Tuesday Jan. 20th &  Jan 27th, 6:00-7:30 PM

Class is limited to 4 students.

Materials needed:

1 Skein of worsted weight yarn – 200 + yards

1 pair of size US 8 Straight Single Point Needles
