Marin Melchior (aka MarinJa Knits) is the Vermont-based designer of the Papillon (Butterfly) Shawl, & many other beautiful designs! She has been knitting and designing her own projects since the mid-70s. She considers herself lucky to have found so much kinship through knitting – an absolutely wonderful community of people.
