Four Purls Yarn Shop is happy to assist you as you knit, crochet, weave or spin. Our inventory consists of high quality knitting and crocheting yarns, books, needles and notions. We offer a relaxed and fun environment for the novice to expert. Stop by and sign up for a class, sit and knit or just be inspired.
On Tuesday nights from 6pm - 9pm, Four Purls is the place to be! We stay open late so you can come and relax, sit around and chat with other fiber enthusiasts, knit and enjoy! We appreciate our customers and ask that only projects that are purchased here are worked on here during Knit Night.
Located in downtown Winter Haven, we are easily accessible from Lakeland and all of Central Florida, including Tampa and Orlando. Only 10 minutes from Legoland Florida.

Yes, we are opening a second location and the good news is... it'll be near you and you and you and you!
We're going mobile! Florida's first mobile yarn shop will be hitting the streets this summer. We recently purchased a GMC P3500 step truck and will stock it with all your favorite fibers!We hear over and over, "I wish you were closer!" and, "Have you ever considered a second shop? We have nothing in our area." Etc. Etc. However, opening a second shop is expensive and what location would we choose? There are so many small towns just like Winter Haven that haven't a yarn shop close by and a big box craft store just won't cut it. Knitters and crocheters everywhere deserve access to high quality fibers -- that is why we decided that our second location had to be mobile so we could serve every community!
We will also strive to recreate the wonderful atmosphere of the LYS at every venue with people sitting around stitching, spinning or weaving because sharing our craft with others is half the fun!
What does this mean for the shop? Our current brick and mortar store won't change -- it'll still be the same great, yarn-filled Winter Haven store you've always loved to shop and hang out in. It is our hope that the truck will encourage more people from outlying cities to make the drive to Winter Haven to visit the shop itself, spend the day, maybe eat at Elmo and Linda's restaurant next door, shop at Serendipity or the Tea room down the hall. We have a great town, so let's get out there and spread the word!
We will be selling some very special items in the next few week like HPKY Sock yarn hand-dyed in the Four Purls Yarn Truck custom colorway. It'll be available exclusively here. It'll consist of 75% superwash merino 25% nylon, and be 450 yards.
